This particular monkey movie is a classic and remains my all-time favourite. Simply go to http://www.geocities.com/johnniemccoy/funny2.html and click on Monkey mpeg 1 (it is a 370kb download).
However, do not (I repeat - DO NOT!) look at Monkey mpeg 2.

Hey a whole website devoted to generosity (www.generousgiving.org). Lots of great resources and inspiring stories. The statistics page is fascinating:
"If members of historically Christian churches in the United States had raised their giving to the Old Testament’s minimum standard of giving (10 percent of income) in 2000, an additional $139 billion a year would become available"

Well easter has come and gone. Again. Its funny how time fly so fast. Its been over 1.5yrs since my "big" holiday (and I think i’m due for another one). But the past few days I have been pondering alot about life, the future, God, friends, family, death. It’s been an incredibly fast journey. I’m nearly 28, which means that If I make it to 75yrs old, I’ve already lived over 1/3 of my life.
Is not life like a dot in eternity… Billions of people have lived and died for thousands of years before today. Now its our turn. This is our generation. This is our time. In a few hundred years, it’s another’s turn. We’ll just be another part of history.
Look at the big picture: our life really mean nothing…. unless there’s a meaning to all of this.
My belief? I believe that we are not meant to live for ourselves. I believe that there is a greater purpose then to live for our own sake. In a world where we are so consumed with meeting our own needs, we forget to really live. In a world so preoccupied with finding our own happiness, we have nothing left to give to others. But I guess you cant really help others and give joy to others if you dont have joy yourself.
Joy is not something that happens to you. It’s something that happens in you. You can be sick and still full of joy. You can face a tragedy and still have joy.
Hence Easter for me is not about chocolates or long weekends. Its about remembering the most selfless act of all. The cross. Jesus didnt have a masters degree or PhD, nor was he the richest person, but I’m sure you can agree with me that no other kings or queens, no generals or captains, and no other person that has ever lived, combined together, have made the most significant impact in the whole history of humanity then this one person. Jesus.
So there!!!

Hello everyone… and welcome to my BLOG. For some reason though, I’m not too familiar with the whole idea of a blog. Is this where I meant to write my thoughts so others, like you, can read it and laugh at me??? I dont think I need to have a blog to have people laughing at me. But hey… why not. Its free!!! And being a tightass, I like free stuff.
So in the near future, I guess i’ll make an attempt to write some of my thoughts and opinions. Maybe some will be controversial and some will be drop dead boring. But hey… it’s my blog and I can do whatever I’d like.
And if you have time to read this blog then maybe you need a real life, or ponder why you are wasting your life reading this crap.
Whatever the reason is… welcome to my BLOG.
Nick
